Pick any two African countries to compare their population, area, capital, languages, currency and population density side-by-side. Data is loaded live from the open REST Countries dataset.

How this tool works

The comparison pulls data live from the REST Countries open dataset, which itself draws from the CIA World Factbook, the World Bank and Wikidata. Population figures are the most recent estimates published by the United Nations Population Division. Population density is calculated from population divided by total land area in km².
